This has probably already been done. But, I thought it was interesting that, when we first meet Chief Bei Fong, she is all about going by the book and having Korra (the Avatar) follow the rules of the city. Even with dealing with the Equalists (such as going through all the proper measures of investigating the Satos, not just taking the Avatar’s word about Hiroshi’s involvement). However, the fight has become personal now that the Equalists have taken out, and captured, a number of her metalbenders. Chief Bei Fong realizes, after being defeated, that this is one battle that she win by going through the conventions of the law. Sorry for the rambling, I just thought the change of opinion was interesting.
